Game Designer

  • Designing and developing the character input/physics system with Unity and C# to have smooth character movement and controls.

  • Creating interactable gameplay objects for the player using Maya, Unity, and C# to give the player multiple unique experiences while playing.

  • Creating and maintaining the Game Design Document (GDD) as well as the GRATIS outline, using Google Drive, Trello, Word, and Excel.

About This Game

  • The original idea for the game was to be a trash pit that gets all sorts of random objects thrown into it, which the player is stuck in. The goal is to escape the pit by using objects dropped in, be careful though, because some objects hurt, and some manipulate the environment as well as the player.

  • My idea for the game has expanded to have themed levels. For example, I am starting to work on a level themed as a human stomach. Fast food dropped in will enlarge and slow the player, healthy food will slim them down, making them faster. Too far in either direction is dangerous so you have to be careful. 

  • Overall, I plan to release this as a mobile game. My first goal is to complete a generous set of levels, followed by awards/achievements, leader boards, possibly multiplayer, and to try tilt controls for movement.
