Game Designer

  • Developed and designed UI/UX elements for menus, scoring, high scores, and an upgrade store using Unity 5 UI canvas systems with C#.

  • Designed scoring/economic system using C#, Unity, and Excel in order to have a balanced upgrade/progression system.

About This Game

  • Missile Command was originally created in 1980 by Atari.

  • This is a version I created while learning to prototype games and mechanics.

  • In this prototype, you must defend the six cities from a continuous stream of missiles (as well as random enemies and projectiles with different mechanics). Once you defeat a certain amount of enemies/missiles, you will have won that map and be taken to an upgrade screen where you can upgrade shot speed, explosion radius, and ammo capacity.

  • For the purposes of this prototype there is also a unique boss you must defeat on each level that has it's own unique style and mechanics.
